8 Indirect question
Косвенный вопрос.↑ Question1) Косвенный вопрос - это вопрос, переданный в косвенной (непрямой) речи. Все изменения, которым подвергается предложение в непрямой речи, происходят также и в косвенном вопросе (подробнее см. Indirect speech, 2,3).2) В косвенном вопросе, в отличие от прямого вопроса, не происходит инверсии, то есть порядок слов такой же, как в обычном повествовательном предложении (сказуемое следует за подлежащим).
